My name is Jennifer Sinclair and I am the owner of Jennifer Sinclair of London based in High Street, Croydon founded in 2003. We are a family run business that provides our customers with bespoke stationery of distinction. We are also a professional wedding and events management company providing exceptional, event designs for both our individual and corporate clientele.
Whilst planning and organising my own wedding in the summer of 2003 I was unable to find a particular style of invitation, which I had set my heart on which I had automatically, assumed existed not realising at the time that it did not.
Unable to find exactly what I was looking for I eventually realised the only way I would have my particular invitation would be to design and make it myself, so together with a close friend of mine and another graphic designer I decided to create my concept with their help. Eventually with our collective knowledge of Apple Mac computers and the print and wedding industry we designed then went on to produce an original invitation with coordinating stationery on fine iridescent card. We then hand tied beautiful organza ribbon to finish, I even went onto design and make a large framed A1 seating plan just in time for my wedding.
I was very happy with my achievement more so when my invitation design started to sell less than two months before the date of my wedding solely by word of mouth and this was the deciding factor to slowly start my own business Jennifer Sinclair of London.
Infact my very first customer was the mother of Mark Butcher the former England Cricketer.
After designing my unique stationery I went on with help from friends and my family to successfully manage and co-ordinate my own wedding at Addington Palace in August 2003, which ran very smoothly and without stress with meticulous attention to detail. Several staff and guests on the day were asking who my wedding planner was only to discover it was I. Even I could not believe just how relaxed I was on my own wedding day which I put down to the overall advance planning.
We have since gone onto successfully design plan and co-ordinate many weddings and events much to the delight of our satisfied customers and our testimonials speak for themselves. We our very pleased with our achievements and have worked considerably hard to stay original whilst bringing individual quality and unique modern designs to all our customers. Although I work hard I enjoy the rewards of running my company immensely
Even though my company was founded quite by accident I am very happy doing what I love co-coordinating events and constantly designing a fine brand of bespoke stationery.
